Let’s talk about the future of housing:

We will be holding a pop-up event about housing @ Studio Nine in Totnes from 7-12th March.

Over the past year Barefoot's Devon Office in Dartington has been seeded by Julia Wilson, who grew up in and around Totnes and as part of the wider Barefoot team we are launching a new satellite studio in Devon. 

Barefoot has been working on several projects in and around South Devon. Establishing a new office in the region is an exciting step towards a commitment to delivering more eco-homes, innovative housing, community-led projects, exciting extensions and retrofits in Devon and the South West. 

We will be displaying some of the housing and community projects we're involved with. It is also designed to be a space in which we get talking about housing and all this encompasses, learn more about the community, and hear the thoughts and ideas of others. We welcome everyone to stop by, join the discussion and contribute a story to the exhibition. 

Each day we will be co-creating discussions about topics such as affordability / access to land / community-led housing / care provision / custom & self-build homes / low energy buildings / ecological materials / bio-diverse landscapes. 

We will gather the ideas of the week to produce a digital booklet to show the key themes, issues raised and what we've learned. This will be available to download from our website.
