After two years of hard work we are very close to making a planning submission for a small eco community in the green belt near Bristol. Our ambitious and inspiring clients would like to build 3 zero carbon houses set within a beautiful shared landscape teeming with wildlife.

The project has very ambitious aims to create new habitats and increase biodiversity across the site - this will be achieved with new orchards, hedgerows, 'Wapan' walls, meadows, ponds, wetland features, green roofs and native trees.

This is the first project we have worked on which aims to achieve Building with Nature Accreditation, a scheme which promotes high quality green infrastructure in developments across the UK to help create better places for people and wildlife. Through working closely with the clients, Sarah Price Landscapes, Seasons Ecology, Wotton Tree Consultancy and TJ infrastructure (as well as our Building with Nature assessor from So Sustainable), a landscape scheme has been created which will create a beautiful setting for three families to live close to nature. The goal of working towards the Building with Nature accreditation has pushed the whole team to work even harder to create the best possible habitats for wildlife, and build connections between the site and the wider landscape so as to have a positive impact on wildlife across the local area.

We also worked closely on this project with, Corbett and Tasker, Hydrock, Plainview, Bristol and Bath Heritage, Amalgam Landscapes and Integrale.
