4 Barefoot Projects Opening Up for Dorset Greener Homes

September 20, 2021

Between the 25 September and the 3rd of October 2021 we will have 4 of our projects open as part of Dorset Greener Homes out of the 50 being featured in total. This has been arranged through the National Network for Low Carbon Open Homes, which hosts events around the country. It is a great opportunity for people interested in living a lower impact life to see how others have developed their existing, or new self build homes to achieve their ambitions. Our Chalk Wall House project has participated in this event for many years, and this will be the first year to feature the Class Q Barn conversion at Charlton Down, Sailcloth House in Bridport, and at a community scale, Bridport Cohousing - a project currently under construction to deliver 53 homes built to the Association of Environmentally Conscious Building (AECB) Building Standard. If you are interested in visiting any of these projects, please book a tour, or sign up for the dates available for each project. If you have any specific questions about any of them, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at info@barefootarchitects.co.uk and click on any of the links to our project specific pages and links to associated organisations. What are you waiting for to start designing your future sustainable home?
