The Barefoot Pottery Throw Down

January 12, 2022

Rob and Maria go head to head, battling it out to become the practice's 'champion of the wheel'. Rob got a head start last week with some experiments in cup and pot forming, but Maria has been doing her research and getting inspired (watching the real deal on Channel 4) ahead of her course at the ClayShed. Watch this space for updates and voting by the team. Sam will try not to cry at the beauty of the creations ;-)

If you haven't tuned in to the show, it's great Sunday night TV! check it out here https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-great-pottery-throw-down

If anyone in Bristol is interested, Rob previously did a course at the Pot Stop http://www.potstop-pottery.co.uk/ and Maria's course is running at the Clay Shed

What a crafty use of the '5th day'! We're delighted our 4-day week is allowing the team to further their personal learning and explore other creative fields.
